Join Sean Tapley and James Madigan from Liberties Cultural Association on a walk through the Liberties, commemorating and remembering the life of executed 1916 hero Michael Mallin and his family, who&#x27;s roots in the Liberties extend back over 200 years.Michael Mallin, Commendant and Chief of Staff of the Irish Citizen Army was born in Wards Hill, lived in Meath Street and Francis Street. He was a soldier, an activist, a silk weaver and a musician.Meeting outside Teelings in Newmarket at 3pm finishing in Mallin Park at 4.30pmPlease arrive ten minutes before start of the tour.
