However, we&#x27;re pleased to welcome Chandrika Narayanan-Mohan.This live event will feature readings from three lyrical and imaginative poets, deeply connected to place and the natural world. Jane Clarke, Chandrika Narayanan-Mohan and Jodie Hollander are from three different countries but all explore landscapes and how they shape the people who live within them. Their work helps us to make sense of living in a perilous world in a state of constant change. In poetry that is remarkable for its energy, precision of language, and subtlety, they look at what it means to be lost and to find a way forward. Join us for an unforgettable and thought-provoking evening.BiosJane Clarke is the author of two poetry collections, The River and When the Tree Falls (Bloodaxe Books 2015 &amp; 2019), as well as an illustrated chapbook, All the Way Home, (Smith|Doorstop 2019). Jane received the Ireland Chair of Poetry Travel Award 2022, the Hennessy Literary Award for Poetry 2016 and the Listowel Writers’ Week Poem of the Year ,m2016. She grew up on a farm in Roscommon and now lives with her wife in the uplands of Co. Wicklow. Jane’s third collection A Change in the Air will be published by Bloodaxe Books in May 2023.Chandrika Narayanan-Mohan is a Dublin-based writer and performer from India. Her work has been published by Dedalus Press, Lifeboat Press, Poetry Ireland, Banshee, and Stinging Fly amongst others. Chandrika was selected to participate in the Irish Writers Centre’s XBorders programme 2018 and 2020, Poetry Ireland’s Introductions 2021, and Science Gallery Dublin’s Rapid Residency 2021. Chandrika was editor of Poetry Ireland’s Trumpet issue 9, is book reviewer for Children’s Books Ireland’s Inis magazine, and is on the Board of the Irish Writers Centre. She is Writer in Residence for the Institute of Physics for 2023.Jodie Hollander’s work has appeared in journals such The Poetry Review, The Yale Review, The Harvard Review, PN Review, The Kenyon Review, Poetry London, The Hudson Review and the best Australian poems. Her debut full-length collection, My Dark Horses, was published with Liverpool University Press, Pavilion Poetry. Her second collection, Nocturne, will be published with Pavilion in the spring of 2023. Hollander is the recipient of a MacDowell fellowship and a Fulbright fellowship in South Africa. She is also the originator of &#x27;Poetry in the Parks,&#x27; in conjunction with several National Parks and Monuments in the US.T﻿his is a free event but booking is required please.
