About this event

We are excited to announce the upcoming one-day camp "Coding4Girls," which aims to inspire secondary school girls to explore the exciting world of Technology and Engineering. The event is free, and will take place on Wednesday, June 14th, 2023 at TU Dublin, Blanchardstown Campus. The camp is open to all interested secondary school girls. The objective is to encourage young girls to consider pursuing careers in Technology and Engineering and to promote gender diversity in the STEM field.

Coding4Girls will feature a variety of hands-on activities and practical sessions, including a coding session, robotics, and tower building. Experienced faculty members will lead these sessions and provide guidance and support throughout, enabling participants to learn in a fun and interactive way. Additionally, the participants will have a chance to engage in informal chat with current female students, allowing them to learn about the experiences of other girls who have pursued similar interests and fields of study.

Lunch and goodie bags will be provided to all participants, and prizes will be awarded. This camp will provide a supportive and inclusive environment and offer an excellent opportunity for young girls to feel confident and excited about their potential in the technology and engineering domain.

Note:

Photographs will be taken at this event. By registering, you are giving consent for your child to be photographed.

Students will need to be collected from the campus when the event finishes at 3.30pm.
