PLEASE ANSWER ALL THE REQUIRED QUESTIONS TO ADVANCE TO CHECKOUTThe annual Roscommon Community Challenge will be held on Friday, March 1st, 2024 @ 8pm. This year, the proceeds will benefit the Roscommon Special Olympics Club and the Roscommon Community Sports Park.Participants have the option to walk, jog, or run either the 5K or 8K routes. Both routes will start at the Roscommon Community Sports Park, serving as the headquarters, and will be clearly marked and supervised by marshals along the way. These routes will provide participants with a Moonlit tour of Roscommon town.For those seeking training before the event or wishing to shake off the New Year's celebrations, an 8-week training programme will be available leading up to the event night. This programme, guided by fully qualified instructors under the supervision of Noel and the Roscommon Sports Partnership staff, will prepare participants for either the 5K or 8K walk or run. The training, suitable for walkers, joggers, and runners of all abilities, will occur every Monday and Wednesday starting from January 3rd at 7 pm at the Roscommon Community Sports Park.The entry fee for the main event on March 1st, 2024, is €20 for adults and €5 for children. All participants must register and pay online via Eventbrite before the event.Please note that the training fee does not include entry to the main event.After the event, tea and coffee will be available for participants at the Sports Park.
