Festive Workshops at Fab Lab Limerick (11:30am)

Fab Lab Limerick started in 2012 as an elective course at the School of Architecture, UL in which open source 3D printers, CNC routers and laser cutters were built. In 2014 this self-build equipment was moved to an empty building in the city centre owned by Limerick City Council.Since then, Fab Lab Limerick has evolved into a fully functional digital fabrication laboratory that offers cultural, educational and research programmes on digital fabrication, bridging the gap between these technologies and creatives from all disciplines.

An afternoon of festive creativity and learning in this hands-on Fab Lab workshop (6-12 year olds)

Join us for an afternoon of festive creativity and learning in this hands-on workshop for 6-12 year olds. Build your very own Christmas decorations from a selection of Lasercut Ornaments, Reindeer and other Decorations, from laser cutting and the technology available at Fab Lab Limerick. Workshops are approx 40 mins. Parents are required to stay with their child for the workshop. Discover the art and technology in a festive setting, supported by Limerick City and County Council's Limerick Christmas campaign.
