Join us at the Trinity Long Room Hub for a day filled with insightful discussions and engaging speakers.In the face of a changing climate and environmental degradation, significant political, social and economic change is required globally. In some countries, parts or whole areas of their territory may become uninhabitable. In other countries, migrant workers are employed in industries, such as agriculture, that are increasingly affected by climate change.Hosted by the Law School, this symposium brings together early career researchers from across various disciplines, including law, geography, political science and history, to discuss the various problems that arise in the context of climate change. The symposium will have panels on framing the climate change-migration nexus, what policy approaches are necessary and the applicable legal frameworks.This symposium is hosted by the School of Law, a provisional programme will be published shortly.The event is supported by the TCD Trust and the FAHSS Events Fund.
