Is an tIonad Ealaíon is faide siar san Eoraip é Áras Éanna. Is é an buntáiste is mó a bhaineann le hÁras Eanna mar ionad Ealaíon ná go bhfuil sé suite ar Inis Oírr, oileán a bhfuil cáil air mar gheall ar stair, oidhreacht agus áilleacht agus ina bhfuil pobal láidir Gaeltachta a chuireann fáilte roimh ealaíontóirí ó gach foirm ealaíne.Áras Éanna is Europe's most westerly Arts centre. The greatest advantage of Áras Eanna as an Arts centre is undoubtedly that it is located on Inis Oírr, an island renowned for its history, heritage and beauty and featuring a strong Gaeltacht community that welcomes artists from all artforms.

Dráma grinn dátheangach (uair an chloig)! One hour bilingual comedy show

Aras Eanna Arts Centre

For the Love of Milseáin - Dráma grinn dátheangach (uair an chloig) Aoine 5 IúilAward winning comedian and Ireland’s “queen of the offbeat” Áine Gallagher, is on a mission to prove that speaking Irish can be both accessible and hilarious. Using her quirky and deadpan style as her secret weapon, Áine navigates dating, mug-cake-baking, and mistake-making to create a wholly unique comedy experience. A comedy experience that is bilingual but also completely accessible and that guarantees to reignite your grá for the language and unlock your cúpla focal. As a non fluent speaker herself, Áine understands the widespread fear that exists for people when it comes to our native teanga. That's why she aims to inspire audiences by sharing her own stories, like when she met our president Michael D Higgins and other similar disasters in her own journey to learn Irish. With her deadpan, offbeat and wholly unique style, there is no doubt Áine will ignite your passion for Irish, even if you’ve never heard a word. So come along to “FOR THE LOVE OF MILSEÁIN" sit back and feel inspired by Áine’s hilarious tales. Tá an bhean ghrinn, a bhfuil gradaim bainte amach aici, agus atá ina banríon ar ghreann neamhghnách na hÉireann, Áine Gallagher, amuigh le cruthú go bhfuil labhairt na Gaeilge sodhéanta agus greannmhar. Trí úsáid a bhaint as a stíl ait agus fuarchúiseach mar a huirlis rúnda sa seó grinn fíoruathúil seo, déanann Áine iniúchadh ar an ngrá, ar bhácáil cácaí muga agus ar dhéanamh dearmad. Is dráma grinn dátheangach ach sothuigthe é, a spreagfaidh do ghrá don teanga in athuair agus a thabharfaidh ar ais do chúpla focal.Toisc nach cainteoir líofa í Áine, tuigeann sí an faitíos a bhíonn ar dhaoine nuair a thagann sé go dtí ár dteanga dhúchais. Sin é an fáth go bhféachann sí leis an lucht féachana a spreagadh trína cuid scéalta a roinnt leo, scéalta óna haistear féin ag foghlaim na Gaeilge, ar nós nuair a chas sí leis an Uachtarán Mícheál D. Ó hUiginn agus tubaistí eile mar sin.Trína stíl fhuarchúiseach, neamhghnách agus fíoruathúil, níl aon dabht nach músclóidh Áine do ghrá don Ghaeilge, fiú murar chuala tú focal riamh. Tar amach mar sin le go bhfeicfidh tú “FOR THE LOVE OF MILSEÁIN", suigh siar agus faigh spreagadh as scéalta greannmhara Áine.
