His world tours and frequent collaborations with internationally renowned artists—such as Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, Eric Clapton, and others—have significantly contributed to extending his popularity beyond national borders. His major breakthrough came with the album “Blue’s” in 1987, which included tracks like “Senza una donna” and “Con le mani.” This album marked the beginning of a long series of successes that cemented his reputation as one of the most important Italian artists. “Oro Incenso & Birra” from 1989 is another of his most famous and best-selling albums.Stylistically, the musical production of the Emilian singer-songwriter is characterized by an original synthesis of the Mediterranean melodic tradition with elements derived from blues, gospel, and soul, genres typical of the southern United States. His work has earned him numerous awards, including the Tenco Prize for career achievement, two World Music Awards, six IFPI Platinum Europe Awards, a Grammy nomination, and the honor of Commendatore of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------FARE CINEMA FESTIVALLaunched in 2018, Fare Cinema is a week-long event held annually between May and June and dedicated to the “seventh art”.
