Access UCC Summer School for students with ASD (Junior cycle, Sec School)
Welcome to the Access UCC Easter School for students who have autism!
Date: Tuesday 16th July
Time: 10 AM
Location: The Calm Zone, Main Campus, University College Cork
Access UCC's Disability Support would like to invite you to attend a one-day fun workshop for secondary school students from Junior Cycle (1st, 2nd and 3rd year students) who are on the autistic spectrum.
We will meet in the The Calm Zone, UCC at 10 am.
For students we will have some fun activities in the morning, while parents can attend an information session with UCC advisors who will outline the DARE process and current supports for students with disabilities in UCC. Current UCC students with disabilities will also share their experiences with parents and be available for questions and answers.
Lunch will then be provided for students followed by more fun activities in the afternoon finishing at 3.30pm. You will be contacted with an agenda for the day closer to the event.
We would love to see you and your family there to show you how UCC welcomes and supports students who are on the autistic spectrum.
