This Beginner AcroYoga Taster Workshop is designed for complete beginners who want to try something playful, social, and confidence-boosting in a safe and supportive environment.
What is AcroYoga?
AcroYoga blends:
- Yoga (balance, focus, flexibility)
- Acrobatics (playful partner work)
- Thai massage (relaxation & trust)
It’s practised in pairs or small groups and is all about communication, trust, laughter, and teamwork.
Why try AcroYoga?
- Build confidence & body awareness
- Meet new people in a relaxed setting
- Move, laugh, and play like a kid again
- Try something completely different (and surprisingly empowering!)
What we’ll do
You don’t need to know anything in advance - everything is guided
Gentle Warm-up
- Joint mobility & stretching
- Core and shoulder activation
- Preparing the body safely for partner work
Basic Acro Foundations
- How to base, fly, and spot safely
- Simple beginner poses close to the ground
- Learning weight-sharing and balance
Play & Exploration
- Easy transitions and playful flows
- Switching roles so everyone gets to try different positions
- Lots of laughter, encouragement, and rest when needed
Cooldown & Relaxation
- Stretching and breathing
- Short Thai-style relaxation to unwind
- Leaving grounded, relaxed, and energised
