About this event

Are you a woman identifying with the ADHD traits or diagnosed as ADHD?

Come join our ADHD Women's specific morning online support group where we have created a safe and secure space for participants to discuss challenges relevant to women and uncover strengths.

The space was created to bring like minded women together so that they know they are not alone in what they are experiencing. Various topics will be discussed in each session as the conversation is led by the group. You can ask questions, discover resources to support you, and learn from others sharing their experiences.

Please register by purchasing the free ticket as soon as you can, all you need is a computer with a camera. This group requires participants to have their cameras on.

Further instructions and a link to the Zoom meeting will be emailed to you ahead of the meeting.

NOTE: Only register to attend if you are certain you can attend as places are limited and fill up quickly.

- If you book a space and do not attend, you are preventing someone else from participating.

- If you have any questions, please give our administration team a call on 01 8748349.

Support Group Guidelines are as follows:

- Everything discussed within the group is confidential and not to be discussed outside the group

- Medication advice will not be given

– ADHD Ireland facilitators and group participants are not clinicians and not qualified to moderate discussions on medication

- Everyone will be given an opportunity to speak, if they wish to do so, however, there is no obligation on anyone to speak

- Anonymity is important, particularly for online groups, therefore usernames only should be used and not actual names

- Be respectful in allowing other people a chance to speak, try and avoid speaking over each other

- Further support is available by emailing info@adhdireland.ie

- For the safety and comfort of all participants it is requested that cameras are on for the start of each meeting and in the breakout rooms

Log in details will be emailed to each participant once you have registered here on Eventbrite. Once you have registered for a place in the group that will secure your place and you can then log in at the start time.

**Please note** This group is a peer support group; we are not mental health professionals and therefore not trained to deal with mental health disorders, and it is not a space to talk about personal trauma. The support we offer is only support. We advise if you have any significant issues or are seeking medical advice, then please speak to your GP.

If you ever feel you are in mental health crisis and need urgent help, call The HSE YourMentalHealth Information Line on freephone 1800 111 888 anytime day or night, or visit your local A and E.
