Affectioned Acceptance*

Affectioned Acceptance*

TØNDublin 2, Dublin
Saturday 18 April  •  20 - 21
Overview

An intimate live audio-visual performance exploring slow grief, memory, and the lingering feeling of hüzün.

Affectioned Acceptance is an audio-visual performance about simmering grief. Borrowing from the Turkish word hüzün, it explores a quiet, enduring melancholy -something that never erupts, but never fully leaves. Grief is carried in small doses, in subtle shifts of the body, in sweet memories, and in distant sounds.

The work is a collaborative performance by Sine Tiller and Merve Sagit. where sound and image are performed live, unfolding together in real time.

Join us at TØN the 18th of April for an hour-long audio-visual performance.
