Event description

Description

The Alexander Technique is not so much something you learn as something you unlearn. It is a method of releasing unwanted muscular tension throughout your body which has accumulated over many years of stressful living. This excess tension often starts in childhood and, if left unchecked, can give rise in later life to common ailments such as arthritis, neck and back pain, migraines, hypertension, sciatica, insomnia and even depression.

The Alexander Technique can help us to become aware of balance, posture and coordination while performing everyday actions. This brings into consciousness tensions throughout our body that have previously gone unnoticed, and it is these tensions which are very often the root cause of many common ailments.

As these tensions are released, so are many of the thoughts that hold us back from being who we truly are. During this 5-Day course you may find that your confidence and self-esteem naturally grow, and with it a natural spontaneity, a greater contentment and a deeper love of life.
In this programme, participants will have a daily individual session as well as learning in groups. This week has been described in the past as ‘life-changing’ and ‘the best week of my life’

The Alexander Technique will help you to move through the rest of your life with greater ease!

Non-Residential: €320 Lunch Included
Residential: €540 – All meals + Accommodation Included
