This workshop will guide you through the process of cyanotype printmaking.

At first you can take the time to look at examples of work and experiment with coating paper. We will use texture glass, lace and netting. You can gather textured elements to bring along, consider what the light can pass through. While your coated paper is drying take a walk in the garden to gather botanical material to create bespoke prints. We will look at arrangement and composition followed by exposure to UV light via sun or special lamps. You can also explore drawing on acetates to create prints.

This workshop is an opportunity to slow down and get inspired in a relaxing garden. The outcomes include learning a new process, cyanotype prints, bookmarks and cards to take home.

Home-made banana bread & tea or Calendar coffee on arrival

Homemade vegetarian lunch is included.
