The Always Children First Foundation training aims to create an awareness of Child Protection and Welfare issues in the Early Years sector. The aim of the training is to help participants understand how to safeguard children and report Child Protection and Welfare concerns.
This is a six hour programme - this programme is facilitated by trainers from Donegal CCC.
A prerequisite of attending this training is that participants have completed the Tusla E Learning Children First Programme (within the last 12 months) and the Tusla Mandated Persons E learning. (The Mandated Person e-learning is a new requirement from 2024).
Please note, participants must send a copy of their Children First e-Learning cert and their Mandated Person e-Learning certs to DCCC prior to attending the training.
