Where is An Góilín?

An Góilín singing session is held every Friday evening at the Teacher's Club, Parnell Square, Dublin 1. Arrive at the door and follow the signs from the front door to the singing session.

Is this a concert by Niamh and Joe ?

Special guests at the regular An Góilín singing session are given a certain proportion of the evening to perform. This is typically about 10-12 songs, depending on their length. The rest of the evening is made up of singing from other attendees.

Established over 40 years ago, An Góilín is one of the premier traditional singing sessions in Ireland. It is about participation from all attendees - listening and singing. Attendees can simply listen, but all are invited to sing if they are inclined.
