Artist and shepherd Orla Barry will participate in a public conversation with Wim Cuyvers on the occasion of Orla’s solo exhibition Breaking Rainbows at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios. From stories on a sheep farm to what categories reveal about our minds. From singing competitions in Ancient Greece to ecological issues today. With a year’s production of her own wool and three performers, Orla addresses our problematic relationship with the natural world. Join Orla and Wim as they discuss the work and Orla’s artistic practice to date.
