About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Join us online on Fri Jun 14 at 11:30am where Nutritionist Jennifer Finlay-Mulligan will share valuable insights and tips on how diet can impact individuals with autism.

Jennifer Finlay-Mulligan is a registered nutritionist specialising in autism and individuals on the spectrum. She wants to help your child reach their full potential and fuel their minds and development. Many people on the autistic spectrum eat a limited variety of foods, may be considered ‘fussy eaters’, have GI issues and may find it difficult to try new foods. Mealtimes and food preparations can become stressful on parents/guardians - Jennifer wants to give you the tools to make food fun again.

All attendees to our events/courses/workshops may be contacted by a member of Family Carers Ireland team as we require information, to be held in confidence, for statistical purposed thus ensuring funding for future training, events and activities.

Family Carers Ireland is the national charity supporting the 500,000 family carers across the country who care for loved ones such as children or adults with additional needs, physical or intellectual disabilities, frail older people, those with palliative care needs or those living with chronic illnesses, mental health challenges or addiction.

Our vision is an Ireland in which family carers are properly recognised, supported and empowered. Our mission is to highlight the contribution of family carers to Irish society and to improve the lives of family carers throughout the country. We believe that no one should have to care alone
