Pre-walk registration takes place at Bantry Community Tourist Office on Wolfe Tone Square. Walkers must sign in and be checked by the safety officer prior to departure. Buses leave from outside the office

What do I need to bring?

Appropriate weather and walking gear is required. Waterproof jacket recommended. High-sided walking boots are essential. Hiking shoes are not adequate. Bring a packed lunch and water.

Can I bring my children?

While the Whiddy Island walks are family friendly (but still off road so not buggy friendly!) The A and B walks are for over 18s only.

Animals are not allowed on the festival walks as many walks pass through private farm land.
