The Barry & Johns Dublin Mountain backyard ultra second Edition 2023
Will be held at Glencullen within the Dublin mountains Saturday 13th May 2023
Starting at 12 midday
This event is a silver medal event officially Ireland’s highest Backyard Ultra affiliated with the Backyard ultra USA.
The winner will qualify for a position on the all Ireland national team with the opportunity to represent Ireland at the world championships.
The winner and runner up will also Qualify to represent Ireland at the Malta Backyard ultra December 2023 event.
All participants will receive a very unique official Backyard ultra coin and event T-shirt
everyone who registers for the event will be entered into a Draw with the opportunity to win a complimentary entry to the Malta Backyard Ultra Taking place December 2023
The backyard ultra is a form of ultramarathon race where competitors must consecutively run the distance of 6706 meters – 6.706km in less than one hour.
When each lap is completed, the remaining time within the hour is typically used to recover for the next hour's race.
