Through her practices, she builds bridges and open conversations to propose reconnections, change and healing from an anti-colonial perspective against innumerable mechanisms of collective illness. Muniz&#x27;s work aims to unfold intimate practices of collective learning through community workshops, performances, installations, and urban interventions. She also expands her visions through audio-visuals, collages, celebrations, and sculptural textiles.Thaís is the founder of Turbante-se, a body of work and research she started in 2012 in Brazil, about identity in the Afro-Atlantic communities through turbans, headwraps, textiles, and the relationships of non-verbal communication implied through the head, from historical to contemporary times. www.thaismuniz.comFree.
