Ben Reel Band will play a gig in Toales Dundalk on Fri 14th June to celebrate the re release on CD & Spotify of his debut album 'This is the Movie' (25th anniversary edition remastered). The band will play the whole album on the night plus a mixture of best songs to date.

At the age of 17 Ben Reel formed his first band at Crossmaglen high school in the year of 1989. Surrounded by a heavy fortified British army military presence - Rock ‘n’ roll was an escape and a way out for 4 young aspiring teenagers who grew up In the midst of the troubles in South Armagh knowing only war as their normality. After the demise of his band ‘Promised Land’ (Trim the Velvet) in 1996 Ben released his debut solo album in 1999 ‘This is the movie’. Here it is in all its glory remastered for the 25th anniversary and sounding better than ever.
