Anam Cara, in partnership with Pieta and Féileacáin, are holding an online Bereavement Support Evening for Bereaved Parents.
About this event
These are challenging times, made more difficult by the month of November!
With this in mind, we are holding our first online Bereavement Support event on the 19th, November at 7pm. This complimentary evening is open to all bereaved parents and will be in two parts.
The first part will give you a chance to hear a bereavement specialist with experience of supporting bereaved families, give a short talk on about the grieving journey we embark on after our child has died. There will also be a question and answer opportunity at this stage.
The second part of the evening, parents will have an opportunity to connect with other bereaved parents in smaller groups. We are delighted that Pieta and Féileacáin are joining us for these breakout groups, so as a parent you can choose which organisation is best for you to talk to.
Even if you have attended one of our Bereavement Support evenings before, we hope you would consider supporting this online event for Anam Cara. It will help connect with you other mothers and fathers who understand our loss and its many milestones and challenges we are facing at this time of the year and with the current social distancing restrictions. In my own experience, I learn something new each time from these talks that relates and helps me on my journey
