About this event
As part of our Bike Week 2022 celebrations, we are holding three Adult Cycle Safety Workshops across county Roscommon.
As cycling has become an increasingly popular method of both transport and physical activity, the importance of staying safe on our roads is vital. Our expert cycling tutors will teach the necessary skills needed to cycle confidently on the road, for fitness, leisure or transport.
Whether you are a beginner, have recently returned to cycling, you wish to cycle to school or work, or already cycle regularly, this workshop will help you develop essential skills to make you a confident cyclist.
Participants will learn essential safety and competency skills e.g bike handling, correct use of helmets, bike safety checks and how to navigate in various road environments.
Bikes and helmets will be provided upon request. This programme is free of charge.
