Original music from Mayo’s very own Billy Clarke, in the most intimate of settings at Glenisland's 150 year old school house

About this event

Billy presents select cuts from his first two albums “wreckage from the sea” & “No more bridges left to burn”, inspired by Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Shane McGowan and other artists featured in the acclaimed appreciation society series.

Along with other teacher's from the school Billy's songs are brought to life with a variety of traditional instruments making this a gig not to be missed.

There is no alcohol at this event but freshly brewed coffee, tea and goodies will be provided.

Tickets are very limited as we are performing in an actual 150 year old classroom. The school will be open for an hour before the gig and visitors are welcome to have a go at our wide collection of instruments. The signs here say "please DO touch"!
