Bouncing Off The Walls is a series of concerts to be held in the Athenry Handball Alley supported by Creative Ireland.

Bouncing Off The Walls is a series of concerts to be held in the Athenry Handball Alley, Abbey Row, Athenry. This Creative Ireland event which commences from 6:00pm includes the following performances.<ul><li>6:15pm: A teenage choir open vocal workshop supported by drummer Eihmain Craddock and facilitated by Athenry Music School&#x27;s Helen Farrell.</li></ul><ul><li>6:45pm: Guitarist Adam Cunningham from Athenry Music School&#x27;s young musicians professional development initiative.</li></ul><ul><li>7:30pm: Harpist Una Ni Fhlannagain. Presents a programme of classic and modern tunes which includes:</li><li>An Gealltanas - newly composed march in a traditional style
</li><li>Ag Smaoineamh Os Ard - ’Thinking Out Loud’ by Ed Sheeran as Gaeilge
</li><li>The Gold Ring - trad jig
</li><li>Cian Caoin &amp; The Rollercoaster - newly composed jigs
</li><li>Muirisín Deas agus Nóra - trad song as Gaeilge
</li><li>Payson’s Graduation - fun English language song
</li><li>Wave Farewell to the Maidens - 3 jigs</li></ul>The programme is designed to showcase local musicians and artists in the unique setting of Athenry&#x27;s handball alley, a place that use to be the centre of the community and a hub of sporting activity. The project looks to engage the public with a new performance space and create a legacy for new generations to discover an architectural feature which has been in the town for nearly 100 years.
