Unfortunately there are restrictive gates along the tow path so standard bikes only can come on this event.
This event is for reasonably confident and competent cyclists. If you have not been on the bike for a while you will be very welcome. We will cycle at a leisurely pace that is conducive to chat and we will be stopping mid-way for coffee/ice cream.
The outbound route is on the Boyne Road. There will not be stewarding/marshalling at junctions. The return route to Navan is by the Boyne Canal tow-path. [see map at bottom of page]
This event is organised by Navan Cycling Initiative as part of National Bike Week.
