Candlelight Soundbath & Meditation

Candlelight Soundbath & Meditation

Overview

Guided meditation combined with the soothing vibrations of crystal sound bowls. gongs and other instruments

Join us for a gentle candlelight meditation and relaxing Soundbath in a beautiful, calm setting to encourage and promote inner balance, peace, healing and self discovery.

£10 investment per session payable on the night by cash or bank transfer.

A Sound Bath is a deeply-immersive, full-body listening experience that intentionally uses sound to invite gentle yet powerful therapeutic and restorative processes in the mind and body.

The sounds introduced during a Sound Bath create a shift in your awareness and your brainwave activity slows from the active mind into a more relaxed Theta or Alpha Brainwave state, creating a deeper state of consciousness.

What to expect

We begin the practice with a short guided meditation to ground us and gently tune into the body. Followed by a symphony of sounds, vibrations and frequencies of various overtone-emitting instruments, including Crystal and Tibetan Singing Bowls, Gong, Hand Drum, Koshi and Table Top Chimes and Ocean Drum.

Creating an hour of tranquility that will leave you feeling re-centred, relaxed, calm, and more connected to your overall sense of well-being

The session can be carried out lying down, sitting upright or on a chair if you prefer.

** Please note: Sound baths may not be suitable for individuals with certain medical conditions, including epilepsy, severe mental health issues, and heart conditions such as arrhythmias, hypertension, or pacemakers. Please consult a healthcare provider before participating in a soundbath if you have any of the following conditions:

  • Those with Heart Conditions should consult a cardiologist prior to participating as the vibrations from sound baths may affect heart rhythm and blood pressure.
  • Epilepsy or history of seizures: Individuals with epilepsy should avoid sound baths as the varying frequencies and vibrations could potentially trigger seizures.
  • Pregnancy: Especially during first trimester or those with high risk pregnancies as the vibrations may resonate deeply within the body which could overstimulate the fetus.
  • Severe Mental Health Conditions: Such as schizophrenia, psychosis or PTSD may find the intense sensory experience overwhelming.
  • Recent Surgeries or Injuries: Those who have recently undergone surgery or have sustained injuries (e.g whiplash) should wait a minimum of two months and consult their GP before participating in a soundbath.
  • Skin infections or Contagious Conditions:
  • Metal Impants, Staples, Inserts within the body
  • Sound Sensitivity, Hearing Impared
  • High Blood Pressure

Please note:

If you have your own yoga mat please bring it along with you. If you don't have a mat, there will be some available for use.

Wear comfortable clothing and make sure to BRING ALONG A BLANKET and small pillow or cushion for your head. If you wish to wear an eye mask, feel free. I'd love you to feel as comfortable as possible.
