Celbridge Community Council is a purely voluntary organization that was founded in 1975.  Our vision for Celbridge is one of a vibrant town with a strong sense of community, where local people come together to tackle challenges through local solutions, making Celbridge an even better place to live, work and visit.  Celbridge Community Council’s mission is to improve the quality of life for community members across all stages of life. We do this by supporting community well-being through services that target the groups most in need, by promoting local initiatives and services and by positively influencing the future development of Celbridge.

Experience a fun-filled traditional  St. Patrick's Day  Parade in Historic Celbridge, just a short distance from Dublin.

Get the best of both worlds this St. Patrick's Day, avoid the large crowds that flock to the Dublin parade and experience a traditional St. Patrick's Day parade in the Historic town of Celbridge. Not only will you experience an authentic Irish St. Patrick's Day parade with a pre-parade performance by singer/songwriter Sina Theil, but we also have 3 international marching bands joining our parade from the Dublin parade.

SINA THEIL - Award winning artistPrior to the parade we have a Free concert by Sina Theil which takes place on the main street from 14:45 - 15:45!Sina Theil is a German born, Irish based multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and winner of the “Hottest Act in Irish Country Music (female)” Award. Sina, who is sponsored by Black Sheep Guitars &amp; Bullet Cable, is currently making music as an independent artist in the Country/Folk genre and has to date scored sixteen #1 singles plus a #1 and #2 album in the Irish Country Download Charts.Her independently released album “Live at THT Galway” was released on November 24th and scored her a #3 in the main Irish Charts ahead of global superstars to the likes of Ed Sheeran and two #1 singles in the Irish Country charts – all within one week

The parade starts at 16:00 and will last approx. 1 hour. It&#x27;s very much a traditional small town Irish parade that is very family-friendly and consists of many local clubs, groups &amp; businesses ranging from the local sports clubs to dance and performing arts groups.However given Celbridge&#x27;s close proximity to Dublin and our very welcoming and friendly atmosphere, our historic and picturesque town attracts a number of international marching bands, which having participated in the main Dublin parade, make the short journey to Celbridge to participate in our local parade.So when you attend the Celbridge St. Patrick&#x27;s Day parade you really do get the best of both worlds. You get to experience real Irish hospitality while enjoying a traditional parade with the added bonus of getting a much better view of some of the best bands from the main Dublin parade.
