About this event

  • 1 hour

The intention for this monthly circle is an invitation to gather together to offer our hearts in service to the Divine, for the sake of the Divine's love for all of creation.

The intention for the circle:

At this liminal moment of transition, this circle is offered as a prayer for the intercession of the Divine, for the good of mother earth, humanity, and all of creation.

We invite the intercession of the transcendent and imminent aspects of the Divine, and particularly invite the intercession of the Divine imminent( feminine) Love and Light.

"...Whereof it follows that as truly as God is our Father, so truly is God our Mother. Our Father wills, our Mother works, our good Lord the Holy Ghost confirms. And therefore it belongs to us to love our God, in whom we have our being . . ." Lady Julian of Norwich.

Our prayers in this circle are also offered in service to the Divine's direct work that is outpouring through the intercession of Our Lady. Here are some of Our Lady in Medugorje's recent messages pointing to this intention:

"The future is at a crossroads.. You.. are my hope. Pray with me, that what I began in Fatima and here may be realised. Be prayer and witness peace in your surroundings, and be people of peace. Thank you for having responded to me call." January 25, 2023.

"Return to God and prayer that the Holy Spirit may work in you and through you..." June 25, 2022

"Thank you for responding to my call and thank you for praying for my intentions. Neither you, nor your children, nor your children's children will regret it. January 1, 2024.

About Our Facilitator:

I'm an ecumenical Christian with a grá for Celtic Christianity. I live a semi monastic home life involving a committed rhythm of meditation, prayer, blessed sacraments, study, retreat and community action, balanced with a consultancy career in the human rights and humanitarian sector.

My contemplative journey started with John Main’s Christian Meditation and in more recent years it has deepened with the Christian Prayer of the Heart and Centering Prayer.

I've been involved in interfaith work for over 9 years, most particularly Christian-Sufi dialogue. I’m particularly interested in engaged forms of faith and Christian mindful awareness as a spiritual response to the global crises present in our world today.
