Description


This course offers the opportunity to gain an Internationally recognised external lighting qualification. All modules are delivered by the Institute of Lighting Professional’s and will upskill the trainee with the core technical skills required to co-ordinate a modern public lighting system. This course is a must for those who want to improve the management of their system and refine their lighting upgrade process.

Who Should Attend?

  • Local Authority Engineers (who are responsible for Public Lighting)
  • Engineers/staff from large campus style organisations (with responsibility for Lighting)


Overview:

The course duration is five days, and will consist of presentations, workshops and discussions around areas such as Lighting Policy, Asset Management and the Lighting Design Review Process, with a Project to be completed on day five.

Note: The Qualification awarded is a Certificate in External Lighting, and does not qualify the attendee as a lighting designer; those who want to aspire to be designers can further progress to complete the ILP External Lighting Diploma in the UK.
