For children aged 5 to 12 years . Skills and drills to improve cycling ability. Two levels to chose from beginner or Improver, see below.

Beginner / Nervous (5 to 10 years) - a child who is starting on a pedal bike, children who still struggle to get started or wobble a lot when cycling, need to work on pedalling and balance.

Children should bring their own bikes to learn how to handle them better, but bikes are available to use and need to be booked when registering. Please make sure bike breaks are working and children must wear a bike helmet for the duration of the session.

Improver / advanced (8 to 12 years) - a child who can start and stop the bike by themselves, can cycle in a straight line - need to work on braking and cornering.

Children should bring their own bikes to learn how to handle them better, but bikes are available to use and need to be booked when registering. Please make sure bike breaks are working and children must wear a bike helmet for the duration of the session.


  • Date: Sunday 19th May
  • Beginners/Nervous - 4.30pm to 5.30pm improver/advanced
  • Improver/Advanced - 5.30pm to 6.30pm improver/advanced
  • Location: Curry Community Centre, Car Park
  • Bikes available – select on booking
  • Age Limit: 5 to 12 years
