There is an increased need to shine a light on the children’s grief. The 'Children Grieve too' seminar will focus on ways to implement the ‘Standards for Supporting Bereaved Children & Young People' developed by the Irish Childhood Bereavement Network.

The day promises to be a unique and exciting dialogue about bereaved children’s needs with insights from both a personal and professional perspective.

Talking to children and young people about death and dying is considered one of the most difficult conversations to have, as adults supporting children and families this seminar is one you do not want to miss!!

The Irish Childhood Bereavement Network (ICBN) works to promote the voice of bereaved children & young people in Ireland, acknowledging that theirs has traditionally been the silent voice of grieving. ICBN supports professionals to deliver high quality accessible bereavement support; signposts families and carers to information and bereavement supports; informs the general public regarding issues involved in childhood loss; advocates for bereaved children, young people and those supporting them and generates new ideas and approaches to improving bereavement support for children.
