The Construction Industry Federations Southern Region is holding it&#x27;s annual Mid West Construct Conference on the 24th of November in the Castletroy Park Hotel, Co. Limerick The conference will bring together company owners, senior sector leaders and policy-makers and will be an excellent opportunity to network with fellow construction stakeholders. M﻿id West Branch Chairperson, Michael Joyce, will open the event. First Session - HousingThe first half of the event will be focused on Housing. Gordon &amp; Lisa Kearney of Rooney Auctioneers will give a presentation on the housing markets in the Mid West. Showing where the demand is and for what type of units.Our Housing Panel will then discuss the key issues facing residential construction in the Mid West. Members of the Panel include:<ul><li>Vincent Murray, Director of Economic Development, Limerick City &amp; County Council</li><li>Michael Joyce: Chairperson of CIF Mid West Branch and Director of MP Joyce Contracting Ltd</li><li>Conor O&#x27;Connell: CIF Director of Housing, Planning &amp; Development</li><li>Gordon Kearney: MD, Rooney Auctioneers </li><li>Pat Keogh: Director, Pat Keogh Construction Ltd</li></ul>Second Session – Project OpportunitiesOur second session will focus on project opportunities upcoming in the Mid West region.<ul><li>Lisa Cogan - (Regional Delivery Lead at Irish Water) will give a presentation on Irish Water’s Capital Programme for the region over the next few years.</li><li>Joe Seymour: (Head of Active Travel Investment, National Transport Authority) Joe will be discussing the many capital construction projects that the NTA will be procuring/building across the Mid West Region in the short and medium term. Hundreds of millions will be spent in this region alone.</li><li>End Power (Senior Project Programme Manager, Limerick 2030) Enda will present on the status of the numerous construction projects they are involved in which will help transform Limerick City. </li><li>S﻿ean Golden (Chief Economist / Director of Policy, Limerick Chamber of Commerce) Sean will give an Introduction to Limerick Chambers Strategic Development Pipeline.
