About this event

Are you ready to lead positive change?

It's time to ignite change and make a difference!

Join us for the CIPD annual conference 2024 on 9 May in the RDS when the HR community and business leaders come together to learn, to examine how we address key people challenges, lead positive change, and network together

Start the day with the business overview from our insightful CEO panel, reflecting both public and private sector perspectives – challenging us on how we make sure the employee experience best delivers for business. That will feed into an exclusive interview with business leader Deborah Meaden by Dr. Tara Shine of Change by Degrees, covering business leadership and sustainability.

Delving deeper into the people issues, explore how to address digital transformation, AI and sustainable people practices and what these trends mean for the people management.

Next we’ll get our creative brains working and learn about leadership and communication under the world-class leadership of the Silent Conductor Steve Barnett.

Moving on it will be over to you to select from a breadth of experts on key people topics and engage in your choice of interactive discussions.

Through the day, meet the sponsors and exhibitors, who will showcase their thought leadership and services for delegates.

As part of recognising and learning from the strength of the profession, the afternoon will showcase how to maximise the impact of people interventions, drawing the experience of CIPD Award winners 2024. Starting off with the equality agenda our Diversity Champions from Iarnród Eireann and ESB and Rising Star from the National Treasury Management Agency will share their insights. A case study from CarTrawler will look at implementing Digital leadership and the talent marketplace.

Thinking about what drives our profession and career journeys, our final inspiring session will explore personal drivers of HR leaders, why our profession makes a difference and conclude with futurist Perry Timms summing up how, in practice we bring the future nearer.

Continue the dialogue by relaxing at our networking reception.
