Dive into colour theory with visual artist Hannah-Clare de Gordun in this workshop for adults. Learn about or refresh your knowledge of primary, secondary and tertiary colours, creating colour harmony. Explore the language of colour.

We will look at contemporary references of the use of colour, experiment with creating colour palettes and work on compositions using the colour wheel.

We will be working with wet paints, so please wear old clothing that you don’t mind getting stained!


About the artist

Hannah-Clare de Gordun is a multidisciplinary visual artist. She works across textiles, print, painting, photography and moving image. Her work has been exhibited at IMMA, Pallas Projects, the National Botanic Gardens and at Dublin Castle and has been published in Porridge Magazine and Holy Show. She has led workshops in Printed Textiles, Printmaking and Colour Theory at IMMA and has facilitated Primary Teachers arts workshops, also at IMMA.
