<h3>Community cycle for the Salthill Cycleway.</h3>Sunday May 8th - This is a week before the Galway city council meets again with cycling on the agenda. Lets ask our councillors to provide Salthill with safe cycling along the prom.Depart at 11am from Maldron Hotel.Depart at 11.30am from Claddagh Hall.Come, ding your bells! Bling up your bikes! All welcome - all ages, all abilities, all cycles - always. #iBikeSalthill The Salthill Temporary Cycleway will be a 3km route from Knocknacarra to Salthill and onwards towards the city centre. More than 15 schools are within 1.5km of the route, as well as local shops, sports, and beautiful beaches.Route for this cycle: We begin at Claddagh Hall to top of Grattan road, turn left onto Toft road and follow the prom up to Blackrock. turn on the roundabout at black rock then travel back down to the roundabout at Lohans. Take a left to cycle through the village to Mortons then take a right and right again back onto toft park. follow the Prom ass far as Ground and co, Take a right into the green space and bike rack at Ground and Co.Pace: As fast as our slowest cyclers.
