Completing the Charities Governance Code for Tipperary PPN membersThis training will go through the CGC Compliance Form and suggest how each element might be completed by different types and sizes of charitiesTrainer Ciaran Lynch Ciaran has a background in sociology, town planning, rural development and governance. He worked as a local authority planner for over 20 years and was The Planning and Development Officer for County Clare for 13 years. He was formerly the Head of the Sustainable Rural Development Department at Tipperary Institute and subsequently the Development Manager of LIT. His areas of interest, in which he has both lectured and practiced over the years, are governance, rural and local development, local government, community-based decision-making, local and strategic planning and project funding. He is a member of the boards and committees of various charities and voluntary bodies and is the company secretary for many of them.
