Description
This course will help you prepare to sing for friends and family over 6 classes so that you have more fun singing and experience fewer nerves. Starting Thursday 9th February with a final class plus concert on Sun 12th march.
Classes: Thursday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm Feb 9th, 16th, 23th and March 2nd and 9th plus last class Sunday 12th March at 12.00pm
Week 1: Warming up, Singing in tune, Breathing & Posture
Week 2: Picking songs that suit your range, Expressing the meaning of a song
Week 3: Developing confidence, dealing with nerves, Finding your unique voice, Moving from low to high notes
Week 4: Expressing emotion, Connecting with the audience, Singing unaccompanied
Week 5: Using a microphone, Performance skills
Week 6 (day of the concert - class starts at 12.00 approx): Rehearsal, Concert for your friends and family
Venue: Spiritual Earth, Rockland, Wexford Town
Concert: Sunday March 12th 2.30pm at The Sky & The Ground, Wexford Town
