Connemara Culinary Adventure

Fable Tours, farm to table tours and tales, will take you on a food journey through Connemara's culinary landscape, where every bite tells a story of tradition and innovation. We will walk the fields and shores, meet the producers and hear their stories.

From Eyre Square we will travel to the heart of the Gaeltacht and enjoy a cuppa and locally made condiments. Our next stop is the windswept farm that supplies vegetables to Galway's finest restaurants and shops. Lunch will be a selection of local cheeses, meats and spreads. To work off our lunch we will go foraging along the shore. Do you know what Ablone is? We’ll find out and then enjoy seaweed snacks. We finish the day in a pub with a bowl of local mussels or chowder washed down with a glass of Connemara craft beer.
