The hybrid model is broken down into two parts: the self-taught module & the 2.5 hour online session. The self taught module is estimated to take 2.5 hours, but as it is completed on your own, you may be able to get through it much faster.
The self-taught module is made up of three powerpoint presentations. The first covers the background of the Consent Ed Project + development and evaluation of the training materials. The second powerpoint covers facilition and biases. The third breaks down in depth how to respond to a disclosure.
The self-taught module is required to be engaged with in advance of the online training. This provides the information necessary for teachers to fully participate in the training session's activities, as we are not able to cover all topics in depth and provide time for meaningful discussion.
