These events are open to anyone with an interest in the South Coast DMAP Proposal including stakeholders involved in community development, fisheries, planning, tourism, recreation, environmental groups and anyone with an interest in Ireland marine resources.

No, this event is open to all individual and organisations with an interest in discussing the South Coast DMAP Proposal. Please note, participants will be placed in discussion groups with other organisations and individuals to consider the South Coast DMAP proposal together.

Please come prepared to discuss the South Coast DMAP Proposal– you can read / download the proposal and associated Public Participation Statement from www.gov.ie/SouthCoastDMAP.

What will be discussed at this workshop?

The workshop will focus entirely on the South Coast DMAP Proposal The purpose is to gather useful feedback to inform the Department in finalising the South Coast DMAP.

A Draft DMAP will now be prepared and published which will reflect feedback received during this period of engagement along with the outcomes of environmental assessment and expert analysis. This Draft DMAP will be subject to a statutory public consultation process.
