Coyote's Wild Home: Lily Kingsolver in conversation with Anja Murray

About this event

Lily Kingsolver has co-written the acclaimed children’s book called Coyote’s Wild Home, with her mother, the Pulitzer Prize winning novelist Barbara Kingsolver (The Posionwood Bible, Demon Copperhead). Published by the renowned Gryphon Press, who specialise in children’s books on the vanguard of animal rights and environmental activism, and with beautiful illustrations by Paul Mirocha, Coyote’s Wild Home is a rich and sensitively crafted story about two very different youngsters and their first outing in the woods.

In this event, a partnership between Listowel Writer’s Week and Seamus Heaney HomePlace, Lily Kinsgolver will be in conversation with the renowned ecologist, writer, and broadcaster Anja Murray (Wild Embrace, Eco Eye, Nature File). Expect a special meeting of minds and an insightful exploration of the links between creativity, story-telling, biodiversity and conservation.
