Craicademia is Dublin’s newest night where big ideas meet great craic. Each month at Rascals Brewery in Inchicore, we host two short talks designed to spark curiosity and conversation in a relaxed, social setting. Think TED‑style talks but with an Irish twist ...less PowerPoint and more personality.

When & where does it take place

Craicademia runs on the third Wednesday of  each month at "The Loft" in Rascals Brewing. Doors open 45 min before first speaker at 7.30 and we wrap up the night by 10

How long are the talks?

Each talk is approximately 20 minutes with space for Questions and answers afterward. There is a short interval between speakers.

Who are the speakers?

Our speakers come from all walks of life: journalists, activists, athletes, musicians, storytellers, scientists, artists, ballroom dancers even astronauts! The mix is eclectic, surprising and always engaging.

Do I need tickets?

Yes. You can preorder tickets via our Eventbrite. But there will be limited tickets available on the door at any event.

Is it just for academics?

Not at all! Craicademia is for those who are curious, social, and up for fun. Talks are designed to be accessible, entertaining, and insightful. Better still, no jargon, no lectures, just ideas worth sharing.

Is there food and drink?

Yes! We are situated in Rascals Brewing D8. Where there is a private bar for CRAICADEMIA along with a fantastic pizza menu.
