A fun, hands-on make space that offers materials, tools, techniques & guidance for families and friends to let their imagination and ideas run wild with clay!
~ Tailored for families and kids but open to all. Kids age 4+ and teens can share the experience with an adult family member or guardian.
~ All materials, tools and aprons are provided, and each family/friend booking can enjoy their own handbuilding station.
~ Bring your clay creation home on the same day to air dry for free (which you can paint with coloured acrylics as a decorative piece), or leave it behind to be fired into ceramic and collected later (approx. 4-8 weeks lead time, additional fee applies)
€50 per Adult with Child/Teen (age 4+)
€20 per additional Child/Teen*
* max. 2 kids or teens can join with 1 adult, or book another child/teen+adult space for all the family.

About CRÉ
Cré, the Irish word for both earth and clay, is a project by artist Siobhán Joyce offering clay workshops for all ages and abilities in the West Waterford and East Cork area in Ireland. Explore the other cré workshops taking place over summer or pick up your mini printed programme in independant stores around Lismore and Youghal.

Frequently asked questions
All materials and tools are provided as well as kids and adults aprons to protect your clothing. However, please wear comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting potentially messy with clay. I recommend bringing a cardboard box, so that you can bring your clay creations home!
Paid workshops are non-refundable, however your place is fully transferable to another person, such as a friend or family member, if you cannot attend for any reason. Please provide me with the name and contact number or email address of the person you want to transfer your space to, thanks!
I reserve the right to change or cancel a workshop time, date or venue due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient bookings. In any event, you will be notified as soon as possible. If you cannot attend the rescheduled workshop, a full refund will be offered.
Yes, the venue has street side parking. The workshop room in the building is on the 2nd floor with elevator access. A wheelchair accessible toilet also exists within the building.
