Creating a Local Sustainable Future using Global Goals: An introduction to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, their connection to local environmental sustainability, and their potential to help us collaborate on diverse issues.ISL Interpretation is provided for these two workshops.<a href="https://www.limerickppn.ie/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/SDGs-and-Climate-workshop-series_Limerick-PPN1-002.pdf" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Sustainable Development Goals workshop description</a>

Learn how to use the Global Goals in your community with two fantastic free workshops! The Global Goals, also known as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), are a universal plan of action for people and planet to be achieved by the year 2030. Training over two interactive and practical workshops facilitated on Zoom by representatives of the national <a href="https://environmentalpillar.ie/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Environmental Pillar</a>.Focusing on practical outcomes that can be used throughout your voluntary and community work, these workshops will provide you with a comprehensive introduction to the Goals, and lead you through the steps for achieving the Goals in your community. The workshops focus on creating opportunities to collaborate using the SDGs, and include particular mention to the environmental targets.Dates and times of workshops: 2nd and 9th December 2020, 7.30-9pm.<a href="https://www.limerickppn.ie/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/SDGs-and-Climate-workshop-series_Limerick-PPN1-002.pdf" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Sustainable Development Goals workshop description</a>Zoom access details will be sent to registered participants in advance of the workshops.Workshops are open to PPN members in any of the three pillars of Limerick PPN: Community, Social Inclusion and Environment.Please have Zoom downloaded on your device. Places are limited.These workshops are a collaboration between Limerick PPN and the national <a href="https://environmentalpillar.ie/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Environmental Pillar</a>, so are aimed at those living in Limerick City and County. Meet others in Limerick who are working on community issues, and learn how to use the SDGs to your advantage.Limerick PPN is committed in its practices to implementing the <a href="https://irelandsdg.geohive.ie/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Sustainable Development Goals. </a>
