About this event

Young members from AAEX Teens will facilitate a series of 30 minutes workshops, guiding other young artists in the creation of stop motion videos. Target age group 10 - 14 years. The event is fully accessible, everybody welcome.

Participants can choose to either use their own phone or tablet to record stop-motion animations via the free Stop Motion Studio app or will be provided with a device. Parents of Participants without device can opt to receive their child’s animation via an email link, provided they give written consent to this.

Lightboxes, backgrounds, props and figurines for animations will be provided. The free Stop Motion Studio app is available from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Tickets are limited. Please cancel if you have booked and cannot attend to give others the opportunity to avail of the slot.

AAEX Teens was set up in 2024 as a volunteer led youth group to provide a platform for young artists for creative exchange and collaborative development of their own ideas in the target age group 6th year primary to 3rd year secondary school. It is facilitated by adult AAEX artists.

AAEX (Art as Exchange) is a dedicated group of artists from North Louth and surrounding areas providing opportunities for exchange and communication between artists and to facilitate engaged public art.
