We are looking for volunteers - ready to spend the day in and by the Culdaff River to help restore the eroded river bank.
The project will involve driving stakes into the river edge and stuffing these with woody debris and brash. There are lots of other jobs that you can do on the day to help out including carry brash bundles and collecting wire.
This project is funded by local authority waters programme (LAWPRO) and being carried out by the members and volunteers from the Inishowen Rivers Trust in a great community group collaboration.
There will be tea, coffee and refreshments available on the day along with a light lunch of sandwiches and biscuits. Please let us know any dietry requirements.
Feel free to bring your own if you wish.
