The Chapterhouse Theatre Company will bring their open air theatre tour of Pride and Prejudice to The Inch Fied (Castle Park) beside Cahir Castle. Step back in time to the Outer Courtyard of Cahir Castle and let the story of Elizabeth Bennet and her sisters unfold around you in this wonderful setting, with Cahir Castle as its backdrop. This production promises to delight the audience with period costume, timeless wit and a romantic original score. This is an evening not to be missed!

Where can I park?

The Castle Car Park is adjacent to Cahir Castle, there is ample parking here.

What should I wear?

Please dress warmly and appropriately for Irish weather. This is an outdoor event, so please keep this in mind.

What should I bring with me?

Please bring your own rugs/blankets or low-backed seating. Make sure you will be comfortable and warm for the event.

Can I bring food/drinks?

Yes, however, we do ask that if you bring food/drinks that you preserve the site and bring home any litter with you. The Inch Field is maintained to the highest standards - please leave the site as you found it.

Are there toilet facilities?

Yes, there are public toilet facilities at the Castle Car Park. These will be open for use throughout the event.

Will the event go ahead if it is raining?

In the event of inclement weather, we will move the event indoors. A venue will be confirmed if this should happen.
