Curriculum Development Workshop

This workshop aims to support Practitioners in developing a curriculum based on children’s emerging interests. The purpose of this is to extend children’s learning and development while acknowledging each child’s individuality. The focus will be on:

Planning using the four themes of Aistear, Developing Long-Term, Medium Term & short term plans, Looking at individual interests and how they are incorporated into planning. A 1.25hrs follow up mentoring visit will be made available to services attending this workshop.

The workshop is suitable for all those involved in planning the curriculum in the service.

A Maximum number of 10 participants is required to run this workshop and this number must be reached 48hrs before the event. If this number is not reached all bookings will be fully refunded.
